Vehicle Description 1971 Corvette for sale.
A great Vette.
This part is difficult for many, but most vettes need tons of work.
They look good in pics, but by the time you make them right, you dump another 15 grand into them.
An example will be an interior that looks good walking past it.
Turbo 350 trans and 350 motor.
The age of the components and wear would indicate original.
That said, there really is nothing special about a standard 350.
The two best items are its condition backed by receipts.
The condition can be seen in the pics and there is well over 12g in parts receipts.
I would prefer to review the worst parts.
That way there are no surprises.
Most are typical of the age.
1.
The forward T top rail does leak in the rain.
I have a new full length windshield frame in case it is needed.
2.
The front nose around the headlight show the rivet circle bumps ( this indicates original rivets).
3.
The trans gasket leaks when sitting for long periods.
If driven each week, it does not.
All other aspects of the car are better than one would expect.
