Vehicle Description 1953 Willys (Overland) 1 Ton 4WD Jeep Pickup Truck - 283 V8 Engine California Truck since New w/ California Commercial Black Plates This nice original looking 1953 Willys 1 Ton 4WD Jeep Pickup has been in California since it was built in 1953 according to the California Title Documents that come with the truck.
The truck still retains the early 1960's California Commercial Black Plates.
The engine on this Jeep truck was previously upgraded to a mid 1960's Chevrolet 283 V8 with Power Pack Heads, Finned Aluminum Valve Covers, 2 bbl Rochester Carburetor (just rebuilt), chrome air cleaner and dual exhaust with Chrome Tips.
This 4WD Pickup is still equipped with a 3-Speed Manual Transmission mated with a High / Low Transfer Case that gives a total of six forward speeds & two in reverse.
The front hubs were at some point upgraded to the Cutlas Bulldog Locking Hubs that are currently on this Willys Truck.
This vintage Jeep Truck looks beautiful with recent paint, interior and carpet.
