Vehicle Description 1985 Toyota Pickup a nice 4X4 with 176,000 miles, its a great truck for offroading.
Basically it runs great, and it doesn't look bad, but could use some cosmetic work to look better.
It has a solid axle swap already done, high quality Bilstein shocks in the rear, and LED pods up front, offroading truck! 4X4 works great.
Just needs a little visual help.
I like to be as straight up and honest when selling a vehicle so heres all the details.
-The bad- The truck has its little quirks like any 40 year old truck.
But I have a lot of the parts to fix the small amount of problems it does have.
Obviously it has a few dents and scratches here and there.
Nothing big but does have a few softball sized dents, one in the door and one on the hood.
It has small amounts of rust here and there as well.
Mostly just little spots, there are two spots in the bed that have begun to rust through about baseball sized as well.
The previous owner did a not so great job with some touch-up paint so it could use a better paint job.
The parking brake does not work.
Probably just needs an adjustment.
The transmission hasn't ever given me a problem but it does grind just a bit going into fifth gear.
The front leaf springs could use a replacement, or an upgrade But I have two sets worth of leafsprings I will include so you can add or take away a leaf to adjust the stiffness of your ride and the lift height.
-The Good- -The 22r motor in it runs great! -It has no problem with cold starts, starts up every time.
- it only has 176,000 miles which is low miles for the year and model.
Most of these ive seen have 200,000 - 250,000 miles -It has a solid front axle swap (better for offroading), - 2 inch lift blocks in front, 2 extra leafs added to rear to leaf springs to lift it and give it more travel with the longer shocks.
-brand new bilstein rear shocks, -new moog steering stabilizer in front.
-I repaired the steering drag link last week.
-New shift bushing installed.
