Vehicle Description Fully restored '59 Tbird 'square-bird' convertible.
White over red vinyl with white top in great condition.
NOTE:
This convertible was built with using (2) cars.
A SOLID coupe with rear end damage, and a SOLID Convertible with Front end damage.
Owner took it to a shop to have the Coupe Front end added to this convertible in seamless fashion built structurally sound.
The VIN for the coupe is still on the A-pillar and was not changed by current owner, but he has the original VIN plate(s) off the convertible that will make this car 'correct' for those with interest.
Please know this was not some over night 'hack-job' and was professionally built/assembled at considerable expense to be done correctly.
Apart from decoding the VIN, no one would know since everything looks & works as it should.
Exterior:
New correct paint.
No rust.
Good panel alignment.
Good paint brilliance.
All bright work is quite good and intact.
Top works as it should.
Interior:
Mostly new vinyl interior throughout.
No bolster wear on seats or heal-pad wear on carpet.
Dash bright work in great shape.
Everything works as it should.
Mechanicals:
Engine/Trans.
are all original to car and in very good performing well-maintained condition.
Trans shifts in all detents effortlessly.
Engine roars to life every time with great power.
Exhaust in good shape with no unusual sounds, odors, leaks etc.
