Vehicle Description 1962 Mercury S22 Comet Rare Factory 4 speed 1survivor in original condition.
170ci 6 cyl , man.
steering , man.
brakes , original near mint interior, bucket seats , console and S22 badging.
I purchased from a family in Seattle 4 years ago.
The grandfather had owned and maintained it most of it's life.
After his passing it sat for several years, it was offered to the grandson but he refused it.
I bought it on Ebay and had it shipped to Fl.
I had to have the rear end rebuilt , new clutch pack , new bearings in the trans , u-joints , new brakes and hardware , New front end parts , front brakes and flex hoses , New heater core , recored radiator.
New wheels and tires.
New exhaust.
