The 'Double Grip Door Latches' to prevent doors opening in the event of a crash and the 'Deep Dish Safety Design Steering Wheel' are examples of these Lifeguard Designs.
The 1955-1956 Fords are now regarded as one of the most beautiful and collectible cars of the 1950s! Here we have a beautiful Fairlane Town Sedan with very rare options that has been well loved by its past owners and was restored a few years back.
With as many options as this car has, I would think this might have been a special demonstrator or display model.
