Environmental Health and Safety - Manufacturing Industry
Cadillac, MI Base salary $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
Two Positions:
(1) EH &S Coordinator position
(1) EH &S Engineer position

OUR CLIENT: A global Tier 1 Automotive supplier (EXPANDING) with advanced manufacturing facilities and product lines. This high volume manufacture is looking for their next Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to be part of a growing corporation. Take on plant health and safety areas with ever increasing responsibilities as you gain more exp. with their products. Become a key staff member in close interactions with upper management.
Responsibilities:
Develop plant safety management plan
Work with plant operations management on ergonomics improvements
Ensure all plant personnel are trained on corporate and plant specific safety programs
Create, schedule and administer plant safety training
Ensure corporate safety programs are implemented and maintained properly
Help Facilitate monthly safety committee meeting
Identify and facilitate the correction of safety hazards/potential hazards within plant
Document and pursue corrective actions for all near miss incidents at plant
Ensure that monthly plant inspections are being completed and follow up on issues
Other safety-related duties, as assigned by the V.P. of Operations or Operations Manager
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher preferred. (But will consider strong work related experience)
- 2+ years of Environmental, Health and Safety experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent computer skills
- Able to maintain confidential information
- Excellent communication, organization and employee relation skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
